Compliance & Standards

Sourced to EFMHACA minimum technical specifications. Verified for Ethiopian power. Inspected before export.

Every unit Linco sources for Ethiopia is checked against three independent gates: the EFDA / EFMHACA minimum technical specification, 220V / 50Hz power compatibility, and our internal 38-point biomedical inspection. Equipment that fails any gate does not ship.

Gate 1

EFDA / EFMHACA spec match

Every candidate unit is cross-checked against the published EFMHACA minimum technical specification for its modality before purchase authorization.

Gate 2

220V / 50Hz power verified

Power label is photographed and confirmed dual-voltage (100–240V, 50/60Hz). Single-voltage US units ship with a matched step-up transformer or are rejected.

Gate 3

38-point biomedical inspection

Calibration, functional testing, leakage current, accessory verification, and a live video walkthrough — completed before the proforma is issued.

Power compatibility

The US runs on 120V / 60Hz. Ethiopia runs on 220V / 50Hz. We handle the gap.

Voltage mismatch is the single most common cause of post-delivery failure in cross-border medical equipment trade. Linco verifies the power label on every unit before purchase and confirms one of two outcomes in writing on the proforma.

Dual-voltage units (preferred)

Most modern medical devices auto-accept 100–240V, 50/60Hz. Label readsInput: 100–240V ~ 50/60Hz— ships as-is, plug type adapted for Ethiopian outlets.

Single-voltage US units

Label readsInput: 120V ~ 60Hz— ships with a matched medical-grade step-up transformer sized to peak load, or is rejected from the sourcing brief. Disclosed line-item on the proforma.
